Commercial Construction Sales Rep

Position Overview: The Commercial Construction Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of commercial construction materials, with an emphasis on interior/warehouse/office and tenant improvement projects. This position will require the individual to cultivate and manage relationships with existing and new accounts, while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. STRONG CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT BACKGROUND REQUIRED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of current and prospective commercial customers for all construction materials.
  • Identify and meet customer needs, and attend customer meetings to promote sales and generate new business.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales proposals and orders.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Tenant Improvement (TI) personnel to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and account management experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
