About this position:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team and drive the company's overall marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on lead generation. This position oversees the creation of engaging digital content, execution of inbound lead gen marketing campaigns, championing a robust social media presence across Sales Gravy's and our team members' social media channels, developing sales collateral, and elevating our brand. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote content and events, driving engagement and brand loyalty.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven history of successful leadership and social media presence with a strong drive for constant improvement and innovative marketing and lead-generation approaches. This is a full-time position in an on-site, office environment in Augusta, GA, and an awesome opportunity for a dynamic, talented marketing professional to build a team and become a pivotal member of our leadership team.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth for Sales Gravy.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the marketing function, including branding, digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing, events, advertising, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of compelling marketing content, including but not limited to websites, blog posts, podcasts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and social media posts, to engage target audiences and drive lead generation.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns, including search engine optimization (SEO) and social media advertising, to increase lead generation, website traffic, and conversions. Collaborate with web developers to optimize website content, structure, and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, trainers, and leadership, to align marketing strategies with business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to track performance, measure ROI, and optimize marketing efforts for maximum impact and efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities as needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a strategic leadership position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools or software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, CapCut, InShot, etc.)
  • Experience with social media management, digital advertising, and SEO optimization
  • Self-discipline to work independently and effectively in an unstructured environment while being flexible with business needs
  • Ability to plan sharp, innovative marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to converse easily, effectively, and with poise on the phone & video calls and through email & online chat
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and proactively address situations
  • A robust work ethic and openness to feedback

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
