Job Description
Wild Susan is an Austin-based aromatherapy company offering natural soy candles and a variety of other aromatherapy products. We are looking for an energetic, driven and positive sales representative for the Dallas Market Center Total Home & Gift Shows. Positive performance at these shows could lead to sales representative opportunities.
The next DMC THG show is January 8-11 in Dallas, TX. Temp sales reps will be required to assist with setup on January 7, with hours to be determined.
Prior experience at Dallas Market Center is highly preferred. Prior experience with wholesale / business-to-business order writing required. Prior experience with a CRM system preferred.
Responsibilities
- Effectively present the Wild Susan wholesale product line to prospective buyers
- Close sales to prospective buyers
- Collect deposits for sales written on site
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of booth space
- Collect prospective customer contact information (leads)
Skills
- Prior experience with wholesale / business-to-business order writing
- Ability to multitask and serve multiple customers at one time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn product line and effectively explain it to prospective customers
- Availability every day January 7-11, 2025
Pay rate $150/day of market plus 5% of written sales; setup day TBD
