Air Unlimited is in search of an Industrial Technical Sales Representative – Preventative Maintenance Program. The successful applicant will be a self-starter who is a highly motivated individual. They will be responsible for new and existing business regarding the preventative maintenance programs on both compressed air systems and power generation systems and products. They will maintain excellent rapport and build long-term value-based relationships with new and existing customers. With their enthusiastic and ambitious energy to provide the highest quality of customer service, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excel at finding and closing new opportunities, growing existing accounts and creating and maintaining loyal relationships with customers
- Enquire, create, and sell preventative maintenance contracts for Ingersoll Rand Compressors and Generac Power Generation systems, and all competitive manufactured compressed air and power generation systems.
- Provide quotes on all preventative maintenance tenders
- Enter and provide quotations and follow up with customers on quotes and existing/new jobs
- Interact effectively with the service department to follow up on new business, key accounts, and service parts
- Work independently while remaining part of a sales team
- Create and present sales presentations to customers
- Meet and/or exceed the sales target
- Introduce new products and technical updates to customers
- Attend scheduled sales meetings and follow the Impact Sales Process
- Provide excellent support and service to all Air Unlimited Inc. customers
- Other duties as assigned
Beneficial Skills and Requirements:
- Occasional out of town work may occur
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is highly motivated
- Experience in selling to OEM manufacturing clients is a definite asset
- Experience in industrial sales an asset
- Must have proficient knowledge of computers/Microsoft Office programs
- Motivated team play with strong written and organizational skills
- Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering/Technologist considered an asset: EIT, CET, EET
- Class 5 Drivers License / Valid Passport
