Overview:
Title: Sales & Service Water treatment Engineer - Selling Water Treatment Chemicals to clients all over the area
We have an immediate need for a Water Treatment (this is TECHNICAL ENGINEERING) Account Manager located in or around the Des Monies, IA Area
You will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of our integrated programs, services and products in targeted accounts within your assigned region. You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a strong emphasis on converting strategic competitive accounts. In addition, you will be required to build long-term relationships with an existing customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing programs, and selling new technologies.

Location: Des Monies, IA area
Pay: $70-90K base salary based on experience PLUS commission
We have an immediate need for a Water Treatment (this is TECHNICAL ENGINEERING) Account Manager located in or around the Des Monies, IA Area
You will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of our integrated programs, services and products in targeted accounts within your assigned region. You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a strong emphasis on converting strategic competitive accounts. In addition, you will be required to build long-term relationships with an existing customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing programs, and selling new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Increase annual invoiced gross profit dollar amount $50,000 over previous year gross profit dollar totals
- Meet objectives and goals as defined by the Regional Sales Manager
- Service accounts according to previous commitments
- Maintain key account base for region
- Technical Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience
- Prefer water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
- Prefer working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
- Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
