Senior Sales Operations Deal Desk Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to report to the Revenue Operations Manager. You have a proven track record of driving sales order process and are savvy in reporting and data analysis. You must provide frontline Deal Desk support for our dynamic and collaborative sales team. This has a primary operations across the US with some global support.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor and valuable partner to the Global Sales Team by supporting the order to invoicing process.
  • Work closely with the Field teams to gather deal information, assess deal requirements, and provide support structuring and quoting complex, non-standard deals working with multiple cross functional partners.
  • Suggest creative pricing and payment solutions balancing customer needs and pricing policies.
  • Review Quotes and Order Forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all Orders are approved within pricing and discount policies.
  • Interface to Finance and Legal as needed (i.e. revenue recognition and contract language) for non-standard deals.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Billing, and Revenue Accounting on recommendations and options for deal structure and deal closure
  • Provide sales guidance on elements of a "good deal" utilizing historical trends in conjunction with current compliance policies.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure data accuracy in Salesforce that feeds into all downstream mission critical systems.
  • Manage deal review process to ensure renewal quoting needs are planned and proactive.
  • Work alongside Sales Operations, commercial offer team and IT to ensure price books, proposal templates, and order form templates are always up to date in Salesforce.
  • Provide sales training and enablement of quote-to-order processes and in-house tools on deal sizing.
  • Document workflow, internal controls, procedures and maintain audit checks around order processing.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changes.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ quoting tools, Microsoft Excel and PPT is required.
  • Highly organized with extraordinary attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with the large CSP Marketplaces and closing transactions within those ecosystems.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, commercial management, Revenue operations or Finance and IT.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high-volume during end of month and quarter.

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years of Deal Desk, Contracts or Pricing, Sales Operations experience.
  • Experience working with remote sales and business partner teams.
  • Experience working for a fast-paced, rapid scaling technology company is a huge bonus.
Salary Range

  • The US salary range for this Sales Operations Specialist position is $130,000 - $160,000 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. The range displayed is the minimum and maximum target base salary and is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US.
