Job Description

Responsible for both the system setup and inventory planning and execution for a group of product categories. Partners cross functionally with store operations, sales, vendors, transportation, and finance to ensure inventory strategies and objectives are met. Analyzes business performance, develops insights and translates into strategies to drive sales, margin, and inventory productivity. Highly analytical, data-driven role that builds and manages inventory weekly to a strategy.


Job Responsibilities


  • Lead multiple project teams necessary to setup the ERP system (NetSuite) to transition to centralized inventory management across all locations.
  • Drive inventory and replenishment strategies to support assigned categories including resets, promotions, events, seasonal /entry and exit, influencing cross functional stakeholders
  • Subject matter expert in planning / replenishment systems and thus utilize system capabilities to drive inventory to right location in the right quantity to support sales while also improving inventory productivity
  • Analyzes category business performance, develops insights and translates into strategies to drive sales and inventory productivity
  • Identify need and necessary data points for sales and inventory reporting to support sales and store teams. Work with Business Analyst to deliver weekly reporting needs.
  • Manage monthly financial inventory forecast cycle for product categories
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure inventory strategies are aligned
  • Occasional travel up to 10% to learn the business or on-site support.
  • Operate within company policy and submit reports as requested
  • Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor

Minimum Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
  • 6-8 years’ experience working in inventory planning/ supply/logistics or related field
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with leadership (Director and above)
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS office.
  • Experience utilizing integrated ERP Systems; Prefer experience in NetSuite
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • A self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently as well as in collaborative cross function group settings
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, organize, manage, prioritize and execute on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
