Position Overview:
Compassion Behavioral Health is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and maintaining relationships with referral sources, identifying growth opportunities, and driving client admissions. This role is essential to expanding our client base and meeting companywide census and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, insurance providers, psychiatric providers, interventionists, and community organizations.
- Referral Management: Strengthen relationships with existing referral sources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Outreach and Networking: Attend conferences, networking events, and community outreach programs to expand the facility’s network.
- Partnership Development: Develop strategic partnerships to increase patient referrals and enhance Compassion Behavioral Health’s reputation in the community.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, admissions, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
- Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics such as leads, referrals, admissions, and revenue growth.
- Presentations: Deliver presentations to referral sources, showcasing the benefits of our treatment programs and services.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a business development representative in a treatment center.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Existing book of business with treatment centers, hospitals, psychiatric providers, interventionists, corporations, federal agencies, and/or unions.
- Ability to proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities to expand the client base.
- Experience working with the Director of Business Development to develop and implement action plans for local market initiatives and census/financial objectives.
- Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
