With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a dynamic Construction Equipment Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth in our equipment sales division.

Job Summary:
As Construction Equipment Sales Representative at Stowers Machinery, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients, understanding their equipment needs, and recommending appropriate construction equipment solutions. This role requires a results-driven individual who can effectively communicate the value of our products and services while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.

2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our heavy equipment products, their features, and benefits to effectively communicate their value to customers.

3. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

4. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.

5. Lead Generation: Actively seek out new leads and potential clients through networking, cold calls, and market research.

6. Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients, understand their equipment requirements, and propose tailored solutions.

7. Quotation and Proposal Development: Prepare accurate and compelling quotes and proposals for clients, addressing their specific needs and budget constraints.

8. Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contract agreements to close sales.

9. Customer Education: Educate clients on equipment operation, maintenance, and financing options.

10. Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM software.

11. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team, product specialists, and service department to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in heavy equipment sales or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of heavy equipment and their applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
