Sales Representative Mid-West US Region
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Bioprocess Division and the Senior Vice President Laboratory Division.
POSITION SUMMARY: Foxx Life Sciences is looking for a dynamic, self-driven, confident Sales Representative who will develop and manage the US Mid-West region for both the Laboratory and bioprocess divisions of Foxx Life Sciences. This position requires prior sales experience in the Life Science industry. The ideal person will focus on developing strong working relationships with Life Science customers through development of a deep understanding of their needs and identifying opportunities for growth by providing superior solutions that enhance the customers performance, while providing superior customer satisfaction.

Role and Responsibilities
1. The candidate must reside within the territory. Preferably in or close to one of the following locations: Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Dallas, or Minneapolis
2. Is responsible for both direct sales to Biopharmaceutical companies and management of a network of Laboratory distribution partners in the regions.
3. Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive growth that includes.
1. Develop new Life Science clients.
2. Manage and grow existing Life Science clients.
3. Identify and develop new distributor partners, build relationships and manage sales opportunities through a distribution channel.
4. Provide constant positive communication, follow-up and client satisfaction, through site visits, phone, email and social media.
5. Meet and/or exceed sales goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
6. Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and working with the internal engineering, quality and customer service teams, resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
7. Track and manage all opportunities through the Company CRM System (MS Dynamics)
8. Leverage CRM for pipeline development and opportunity management
9. Work closely with the Foxx marketing and management teams to identify and develop distributor specific marketing activities to support the sale of Foxx products through specific channels.
10. Take part in local, regional and national trade shows as required
11. Update request logs/weekly reports and sales meetings.
12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related activities as requested.
13. The ability to work both independently and in a cross functional team environment is essential.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Life science background required.
- Understanding of the processes used in the research, development and manufacture of therapeutic drugs.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of successful sales experience with a strong record of successful performance.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including word, excel, ppt, teams etc.
- Experience in using CRM as a daily activity management tool.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Superior time management and multi-tasker.
- Strong oral and written communication skills include strong presentation skills.
- Able to easily change tasks as instructed.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 55%
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge and ability to prospect and market using social media tools such as Linked-In Navigator.
- Previous large account and distributor management experience is highly desirable.
