Job Description

The solar industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S. with more than 3 million homes that are currently fully solar powered. We are growing in the area, and are looking for individuals to add value to our team and expand our customer base. Our energy associates are responsible for setting appointments for our energy consulting team.

Through our energy associates sales program, we will provide you with intensive training to better equip you in the sales and management fields, and you will apply business techniques through hands on experience with our customers. You will learn how to generate customers, conduct energy consultations, close the deal, and manage the solar project for the customer.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the standards of an energy associate who is a part of this fast growing team to assume :

  • Ensure each prospective client and potential customer has a positive experience with our company
  • Take the initiative to learn about the company and grow within the role
  • Prioritize which appointments take priority over others to maximize revenue
  • Develop and distribute reports of each day's appointments
  • Use designated applications to manage various aspects of the job
  • Demonstrate a pleasant disposition with each prospect
  • Properly explain the products and services to prospective customers when making appointments
  • Complete required area sheets at the end of each day

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

Below are the qualifications and skills that are expected of an appointment setter:

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to work at least 8 hours each day, 5 days per week
  • A positive attitude
  • A pleasant speaking voice when engaging with prospects and customers
  • Experience and willingness, working in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
