Inside Sales Representative
Reports to the Sales Manager – Rich Pappas
JOB DIMENSIONS
- Key position within the Dorn Sales Team
- Part of Dorn Sales team that includes inside selling, account growth, new client acquisition.
- Responsible for the profitable growth of Dorn targeted customers
ACTIVITIES
- Develop and execute on strategic account plans
- Establish competitive dynamics and define strategies to manage the competitive situation
- Close working with the Sales team, Project Management and Dorn Leadership to identify client needs and ensuring those needs are met
- Manage the territory relationship to develop an indepth understanding of customer’s needs. Translate those needs to management, to lead the organization in development of solutions consistent with strategies and priorities
- Coordinate new business growth opportunities
- Lead specific customer projects that will deliver growth and profit to the NA business
- Prepare periodic business updates to include market share analysis, monthly reports, and specific project updates in PACE(CRM)
- Work with Marketing team to identify customer needs
- Prepare regular forecasts that are validated with the customer planning process
- Practice Safe working habits, in accordance Dorn expectations
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Inside officebased position, limited travel
- potential for some remote location work after 1 year
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Exceeding financial targets for each account as defined by Gross Margin
- Developing and execution of strategic plans
- Profitable growth
- All facets of customer management including quality resolution, identifying growth opportunities, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Business or Technical Degree preferred
- 35 years account management experience
- Strong selling background understanding of fundamentals of consultative selling adaptable to Dorn products
- Skilled strategic thinker with a track record of results
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone/video conference skills
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Highly organized and effective prioritization skills
- High Performance work team experience
- Adept at complex project management, including the ability to manage multiple diverse and complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
