Sales Associate

Primary Responsibility

The Sales Associate is the first point of customer contact. They are tasked with problem solving! Directing customers, offering expertise on product, and answering questions are all part of the associate’s day. You must be dynamic, enjoy being outside and comfortable meeting and talking with customers who come with a whole range of horticulture knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct customers on-site to product locations.
• Facilitate communication between customers and inside sales team.
• Create a professional and helpful first impression on the customer.
• Accompany customers on site, tag product following proper process.
• Provide Sales Representative specific insights into customer requirements.

Skill and Qualifications

• Demonstrate basic plant identification and horticultural knowledge.
• Understand the internal sales process from receiving an order through to delivery or pick up.
• Sage familiarity/familiarity with the handheld scanning/sales device.
• Easily maneuver within Microsoft office Suite of products.
• Be flexible and a team player.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to stand and walk and bend for large portion of assigned shift.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
