Job Description

Touchdown Business Solutions has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company in New Albany, IN, to find an inside sales representative. The primary goal of this position is to identify and secure new business opportunities for our client's facilities through effective prospecting.

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective customers, offering suitable products, services, and training to generate sales.
  • Analyze competitor activities and explore opportunities for business development.
  • Stay updated on industry news to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work towards achieving revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the Sales Director.
  • Enhance customer focus and drive revenue growth and increased market share.
  • Communicate with potential customers to inform them about Brook & Whittle's capabilities and promote product offerings.
  • Network with businesses in the territory and build strong relationships.
  • Drive revenue growth and effectively develop and manage new partnerships.
  • Identify potential customers and assess sales opportunities.
  • Cold call companies to establish their needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships and grow the existing customer base.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years' sales experience.
  • Experience working in a professional sales environment – customer-facing required.
  • Superior communication skills (internal and external) both verbal and written
  • Computer skills (including email etiquette, internet research and Microsoft office)
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, and employees.
  • Proven track record as a sales resource capable of building business and hitting sales targets.

Compensation:

  • Salary pay between $45k-$55k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
