Solutions Sales Representative


The Solutions Systems Representative works alongside the rest of the sales team to provide cost proposals to customers for PyroComm’ prospecting projects in the assigned territory. He will work closely with the Operation and Estimate Teams to create the most efficient strategy to win projects.


Solutions System Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Qualify Customer and Project Opportunities presented to Pyro-Comm Systems Inc
  • Prepares Fire and Life Safety Proposals for Projects
  • Has some knowledge of Security, Access Control, CCTV industry and customer requirements.
  • Meet with customers to build relationships and sell jobs.
  • Maintains accurate documentation for sales and prospecting activities and provides status reports as needed.
  • Consistent, effective involvement in trade shows, community and networking organizations participate in networking activities and events.
  • Identifies and resolves customer satisfaction issue.

Senior Systems Representative Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong sales acumen. Presentable and trustworthy.
  • Proficient computer skills; Great organization and planning ability;
  • Strong sales performance track record, Must hold a valid driver’s license;
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate specifications and plans
  • Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once
  • Knowledge of the latest building codes, Close attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Education and Experience Requirements:

Major Responsibilities % of time

Creation of Proposals - 40%

Customer Visits, Site Visits - 35%

Coordinating with other Sales Representatives, Operation, and Estimating Teams - 15%

Review of Sales Pipeline with Management Team - 10%

  • Grasping (crimping) – Occasionally (0-3 hours/daily)
  • Lifting 0-20 Lbs. – Occasionally (0-3 hours/daily)
  • Carrying 0-20 Lbs. – Occasionally (0-3 hours/daily)
