Job Summary:As a Sales Representative at PTM Solar, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to promote solar energy solutions. You will engage directly with homeowners in designated neighborhoods, and educate them about the benefits of solar energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Identify and target potential customers in assigned neighborhoods through door-to-door canvassing.
  • Product Education: Provide comprehensive information on solar energy solutions, including product benefits, savings, and financing options.
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport with homeowners, address their questions and concerns, and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
  • Closing Sales: Guide customers through the sales process, including contract signing, scheduling installations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to effectively communicate the advantages of our solar solutions.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and local regulations regarding sales practices and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior sales experience is preferred, especially in door-to-door sales or related fields. Experience in solar energy sales is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and convey complex information clearly.
  • Self-Motivated: Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently, set goals, and achieve targets.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse neighborhoods and adapting sales strategies to different customer needs.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of solar energy systems and technology is desirable; willingness to learn and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Reliability: Ability to manage time effectively, handle rejection gracefully, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Compensation Package:

  • 1099 contract
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
