Logistics Sales Representative

Overview:
The Logistics Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth in our warehousing and Logistics division. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and providing tailored warehousing solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics sales, particularly in the warehousing sector, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This position will start as Hybrid/remote in West Des Moines and migrate to in office as needed.

Duties:
Sales Responsibilities:

Identify and target new business opportunities in the warehousing sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide customized warehousing solutions.
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote company services and generate leads.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

Work closely with the warehouse operations team to understand and communicate the capabilities and benefits of our warehousing services.
Ensure seamless integration of sales and operations to meet client expectations.
Monitor and evaluate client satisfaction and address any issues promptly.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or associate degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related experience.
Proven experience in logistics sales, with a strong emphasis on warehousing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and articulate warehousing processes and solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
