THE ORGANIZATION
DrSnip® is an outpatient vasectomy clinic that prioritizes quality clinical care and a best-in-class patient experience. Our team is passionate about providing superior service to patients and educating the public about vasectomy. Our mission is to make vasectomy simple, comfortable, and convenient for all.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Clinic Supervisors (“CS”) personify the culture of DrSnip. They ensure each patient has a personalized and professional experience with us. They are natural leaders, take ownership of their duties and responsibilities, and want the opportunity to help build a culture of teamwork, patient care, and fun.

The CS is also the clinic lead and assumes de facto responsibility for operations, staff, and their performance. This includes overseeing daily workflows, ensuring adherence to our Policies & Procedures (P&P). They provide ongoing training and feedback, and their natural tendency is to coach and develop their team members.

Lastly, the CS oversees all staffing, scheduling, patient correspondence, and clinic-day preparation. They also are the first line of patient service recovery when a patient has had anything less than a stellar experience with us.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinic Oversight
  • Embody the mission of DrSnip and personify our mission, culture, and values.
  • Work alongside your team to provide great and friendly patient care.
  • Lead by example; model and foster excellence in each role you oversee.
  • Help build a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork, and development.
  • Facilitate communication between Management and team.
  • Onboard and retrain new and inexperienced staff in clinical roles
  • Help identify ways we can improve and implement them as directed.
Patient Care Oversight
  • Oversee and take responsibility for all clinic workflows and operations.
  • Collaborate with the doctor to deliver personalized patient care.
  • Oversee patient communications regarding scheduling and insurance coverage.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed notation in patients’ health records.
  • Keep office and medical equipment in good working condition and certified.
  • Enhance the quality of patient care and patient experience wherever possible.
  • Ensure staff is personable and professional in communications with each patient.
Staff Supervision
  • Maintain robust communication with your team.
  • Ensure staff follow policies and procedures for all workflows.
  • Coordinate staff duties and schedules based on workload and demands.
  • Clearly communicate announcements and new policies from management.
  • Address staff needs and requests clearly, quickly, objectively, and transparently.
  • Foster culture of development and teamwork.
  • Regularly provide ongoing constructive feedback and coaching to your team.
  • Recommend opportunities for professional development.
  • Forward staff/operational concerns to the CEO/designate.
  • Maintain staff records including those relevant to personnel files and compliance.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • Natural leadership abilities; wants to lead by example and coach a team.
  • Talented team builder and collaborative team member.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills; be accountable.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, and be dependable.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate professionally and directly.
  • Ability to provide continuous training and constructive feedback.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years professional experience in a medical/healthcare setting.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a patient-facing role.
  • 2+ years; experience in a supervisory role with direct employee oversight.
  • Experience as Medical Assistant is a must.
  • Experience working with physicians to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Other additional schooling is an asset.
SUPERVISION
  • The position has daily oversight of non-physician staff; typically, 2-10 individuals.
  • This position reports to the CEO, or his designate.
  • This position may cross-cover / cross-supervise other clinics.
  • The position will work alongside Clinical Directors.
HOURS, SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • This is a full-time regular, exempt level position.
  • Clinic days are typically 3-4 days per week and may include Saturdays.
  • Base salary is $65,000 per annum, with uncapped bonus compensation, based on externally verifiable metrics.
