Job Definition

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, focusing on large national clients with expansive campuses across industries such as education, healthcare, corporate headquarters, and industrial facilities. This role involves selling comprehensive landscaping and snow removal services to high-value clients across the country.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below.

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and target large national accounts with large campuses that require extensive landscaping and snow removal services.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Lead and manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including

C-Suite, facility managers, procurement officers, and operations teams.

  • Tailored Proposals and Presentations: Create and present customized proposals that address the specific needs of each client, demonstrating the value of our services and highlighting our competitive advantages.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including C-Suite, operations, customer service, and regional managers, to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to tailor sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Travel: Travel nationally to meet with clients, conduct site assessments, and represent the company at trade shows or industry events.
  • Reporting and CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system, and provide regular reports to the Vice President.

Age Requirements:

  • Employee must be at least 18 years of age and meet all applicable state-mandated labor laws.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in facilities management, landscaping, snow removal, or a related field. Experience selling to large, national clients with multi-site operations is a plus.
  • Strong Negotiation and Closing Skills: Demonstrated success in negotiating large contracts and closing high-value deals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to key decision-makers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess client needs, conduct site assessments, and provide tailored solutions that maximize value for both the client and the company.
  • Goal-Oriented: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients and attend industry events.
