The Legal Operations Solutions Specialist at LawVu is part of the Global Sales team. We are looking for someone with a high level of legal and technology expertise and experience that will be able to understand and communicate both the functionality and value proposition of our product through customer-facing demonstrations and RFP responses.


The Legal Operations Solutions Specialist will be critical in contributing to the Legal Operations Excellence team’s role in positioning LawVu’s product capability appropriately for maximum sales win-rate by helping to connect the dots between the LawVu product capabilities and effective sales messaging that communicates how LawVu solves the problems and challenges faced by in-house legal teams.

The Legal Operations Solutions Specialist will have a positive, “let’s get it done” attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver key individual and team OKRs and assist others in achieving theirs where required.


What you’ll do…


  • Work collaboratively with Account Executives to provide live demonstrations of the LawVu legal workspace to prospects and expansion opportunities. While Account Executives are expected to do overview and first full demonstrations, the Legal Operations Solutions Specialist will be expected to perform demonstrations that go deeper into product functionality and involve more complex use cases
  • Be a product and legal work-flow expert consultant to the sales team, including responding to questions about technical specifications, use case examples, and product specific feature/functionality information. Work collaboratively with other departments to obtain answers to technical or specialized product questions when not readily available
  • Assist with the effective completion and submission of RFP’s. While Account Executives own the RFP and are responsible for completion, the Legal Operations Solutions Specialist is expected to assist.
  • Assist with effective completion and submission of data security RFI’s, questionnaires and meetings with prospective customers.
  • Assist our Implementation and Customer Success teams with technical sales and expansion support, to existing accounts.
  • Create and assist with limited configuration and training for prospect sandbox environments upon request
  • As a member of the Legal Operations Excellence team, you will also be responsible for:
    • Developing and maintain a RFP library to enable a more efficient RFP response process
    • Developing and maintaining a process for request for and configuration of a sandbox environment
    • Maintaining and configuring the LawVu demo site and development of sales enablement resources for use of the same
    • Provide feedback and information to the Product team regarding feature requests and other product feedback
  • Attend internal meetings in order to maintain expertise in areas of product knowledge, data security, integrations, partnerships and other cross functional internal groups in order to maintain expertise and knowledge-base.
  • Attend industry events as requested


What you’ll need…


  • BS or BA required, JD or legal operations experience preferred
  • 3+ years previous experience with legal technology, preferably SaaS
  • 3+ years in customer facing roles, such as sales, customer success or working with internal customers
  • Ideally, some in-house or law firm experience and/or understanding of legal operations market in SMB to Enterprise organizations
  • Exceptional communication skills (both virtual and in person)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task when working with dozens of active prospects and/or projects
  • High-level of responsiveness and ability to prioritize internal and external requests
  • Service oriented and a problem solver when addressing concerns
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with prospects/clients
  • An enabling attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for our mission
