Job Description
Job Objective:
Perform duties to provide customer service and process customer orders to improve sales and cultivate relationships with customers and vendors.
Job Functions:
- Provide customer service support by answering phones, quoting pricing, process orders, tracking delivery and order status, expediting delivery, providing minor technical support and resolving complaints or problems.
- Prepare and mail product literature, products specifications and samples at customer’s request.
- Keep up to date on new products and sales promotions.
- Responsible for learning about the client’s organization, their products, services and changes.
- Is the main point of contact; develops strong working relationships with client and other department team members.
- Acts as a liaison between customer service, IT, and production departments.
- Work with Sales Representative to identify opportunities/new programs and to ensure we are meeting our customer’s needs.
- Prepares standard and ad hoc reports through CieTrade, for management and client, to assess and communicate progress and metrics.
- Maintains documentation throughout the process of a job necessary for billing and reference.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit for most of a normal 8-hour day. Repetitive motions include typing/keying, using a computer mouse, opening. closing, sealing envelopes. Walks through the plant. May occasionally be required to cut samples from rolls. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED or equivalent. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook). An understanding of Inventory Control principles. Previous Customer Service experience and the ability to positively interact with customers. Knowledge of commercial printing and packaging papers preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must possess the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees and clients of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be comfortable and competent with frequent employment of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in which accuracy is essential.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed involved written or oral instructions.
