As a Business Development Manager, you will be a key contributor to driving Oceania International's growth strategy. You will develop and execute strategies to identify new market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our reach in existing and emerging markets. Your role will be instrumental in advancing our brands’ footprint, increasing revenue, and establishing Oceania International as a trusted name in e-commerce.


Main Responsibilities/Functions:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and analyze new market opportunities for Oceania International’s brands, including Gunnr, AHM, Wilprep Kitchen, Kyoku Knives, Birch Hunters, and Zumi Access.
  • Partnership Development: Build and nurture relationships with strategic partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance product offerings, supply chains, and distribution channels.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue through innovative sales strategies, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities, ensuring alignment with Oceania’s financial and operational goals.
  • Customer and Market Insights: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to uncover new business prospects, evolving customer preferences, and untapped market trends.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with executive management to design and execute short-term and long-term business plans, with clear goals, KPIs, and ROI objectives.
  • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with product and marketing teams to align product offerings with market demands and optimize brand positioning across e-commerce platforms.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics for measuring the effectiveness of business development initiatives, and provide periodic reports and updates to leadership on progress and challenges.

Qualifications:


Education
: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the e-commerce or retail sectors.
  • Proven track record in market expansion, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple brands or product lines.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and market research tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer.

Occasional travel may be required.
