BOXX Modular (Canada) rents, leases and sells temporary and permanent modular buildings, including standard buildings ready for immediate delivery and custom-designed solutions. We work with our customers to design and deliver customized solutions, and provide additional services such as delivery and installation, furniture rentals and other add-ons.
We are seeking an energetic, self-determined individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative at our Langley, BC location, to handle incoming customer inquiries, prepare quotations for products and services and collaborate with our Outside Sales Representatives in researching, identifying and nurturing qualified leads to help grow our modular building rentals business, all while providing first-class customer service.
The Inside Sales Representative must have the ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with branch administration and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products to customers.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in sales support (inside sales, sales coordinator) within a business to business environment.,
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting a branch’s sales team including creating sales documents and proposals, qualifying customers, researching leads, responding to routine inquiries and information requests, generating reports related to sales activities and revenue data.
- Manage customer inquiries and prioritize and respond to customer requests that arise if Sales Representative is out of the office.
- Present price and terms to customers in accordance with standard company procedures.
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner, while communicating, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
- Create strong leads via cold calling, online bidding portals and site visits, as required.
- Proactively recommend ancillary, value-added items to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
- Maintain up-to-date profiles of key customers, sales and rental contract documentation within our CRM software.
- Contact customers following sales/rentals to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
- Coordinate and communicate with branch fleet administrator for deliveries and pickups of buildings.
- Remain current on consumer preferences, competitor landscapes, changes in local codes and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, and/or reading trade journals.
- Ownership of branch pipeline and sales activities within our CRM software (Salesforce), including maintenance of sales KPI’s and metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma is preferred.
- 2 years plus of sales experience in a sales or customer service industry.
- Demonstrated ability to create new business opportunities and develop clients in the market.
- Must have a valid vehicle class five driver’s license.
- Must have strong computer skills including the suite of programs within Microsoft Office.
- Overall strong proficiency and aptitude within technical fields with CRM software, including Salesforce, is preferred.
- Must be proficient in English and able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity in all interactions.
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
