Position Summary
Consultative, entrepreneurial rock stars wanted! Business Development professionals that are disruptors within the Life Science market sectors. Subject matter expert on technical products and service solutions that drive our customers business forward. Building and maintaining high-level relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, and architects
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving client relationships & sales for ISEC scopes of work including, but not limited to, laboratory furniture, airflow products, scientific equipment, specialty flooring and installation services.
- Driving projects that target private, commercial/industrial, college/university, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech and government markets.
- Network with and develop clients through meetings, industry events and participation in local construction and commercial real-estate brokers and affiliations.
- Delivers outstanding customer service which includes responding effectively to customer requests, resolving issues, and meeting all commitments in a timely manner.
- Prepare and deliver formal Sales presentations to clients.
- Proficient communicator throughout the project development lifecycle, providing comprehensive turnover information to estimating and operations to ensure successful execution.
- Develop and communicate strategies that best align with our client’s project objectives.
- Advocate of the ISEC, world-class customer experience.
- Ability to travel as necessary

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years’ experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- 5 years of consultative sales experience within the life sciences marketplace
- Extensive knowledge of consultative sales practices
- Excellent track record of negotiating, relationship building and closing capital equipment sales opportunities
- Business development: Strong ability to develop organic sales opportunities
- Passionate prospector and connector of people
- Entrepreneurial driver with strong collaboration and communicative skills
- CRM
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma
- Three years’ experience in a sales role
- Previous experience working in targeted market sectors
- Strong understanding of customer service and basic business principles
- Knowledge of up-to-date selling techniques and creative ways to generate new business
- Proven ability to meet and/or exceed projected sales goals in prior roles
- Entrepreneurial spirt with a passion for sales, along with a strong drive to succeed
- Possess good problem solving and judgment skills
- Excellent organizational and technical skills including Excel, Word, Bluebeam and PowerPoint.
- Ability to adapt and think creatively to realize the potential for new business opportunities
- Proven results in building relationships and high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as a team member with suppliers and fellow employees
