Position Summary:
As a dedicated and results-driven Account Executive, you will play a vital role in growing our customer base across all sales channels of the dietary supplement industry through new client acquisition. Account Executives are responsible for annually building their own personal book of business. Following one year, accounts acquired by the Account Executive may be reassigned to other sales personnel, as deemed necessary, by Sales Management.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients, including distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals.
- Reach a minimum of fifty calls per day including:
- Outbound calls to Target Lists provided by PRL Marketing
- Outbound calls to own target list of potential clients
- Inbound calls managed and fielded at the PRL 800 Number
- Log all calls, emails, Teams Meetings, lead qualifications, and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations Leadership and be prepared to discuss opportunity status to support product and revenue forecasts.
- Attain agreed sales quota.
Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.
- Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our dietary supplement products.
- Engage our R&D and Product Specialists as necessary to help close deals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers keeping them updated on product, pricing, promotional information; and customer facing educational material developed by PRL Marketing
Account Development:
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales, cross-sell products, and drive revenue growth within acquired accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding product offerings.
Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract agreements with clients.
- Ensure that contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
- Work with Sales and Manufacturing Operations to agree all contract SOWs (Statements of Work) and exhibits.
Market Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics.
- Gather and provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market feedback.
- Keep up to date on all required products, system, and process training.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, with a proven record in client acquisition and relationship management.

Compensation:
- $75,000 base salary plus commission opportunities
