We are seeking an experience Business Development Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate is ambitious and enjoys building relationships with clients in an outside sales environment.
Job Functions:
· Prospect new business opportunities to grow client base.
· Responsible for researching assigned markets and proactively identifying and securing opportunities within the company’s target specialties:
· Strategy: Identify the growth and profitability objectives, targeted service/business line mix, service capability, competitive opportunity and ideal customer portfolio utilizing individual sales plans and targets.
· Discovery: Develop and qualify leads from existing accounts or new prospects and document in Hubspot.com and Griffin Hill as appropriate. Utilize resources such as program managers, cross selling initiatives/teams, marketing campaigns, referrals, RFI/RFPs, cold calls, and expansion opportunities to generate leads. Partner with other subject matter experts as needed to assist in the needs analysis, due diligence and capability overview when appropriate leads are qualified to move forward in the process.
· Advocacy: Consult with SME’s and other members of the sales team to develop the solution, pricing strategy and value proposition once an opportunity is identified.
· Closing: Partner with the client and internal operations team to ensure all needs are being met. This may include negotiating contract terms, non-standard requirements, and service offerings.
· Ongoing Account/Relationship management.
· Responsible for developing consultative sales skills:
· learning about the company’s cost models and pricing
· staying current with all aspects of the staffing industry and competitive data
· learning and keeping others informed of market information
· building relationships across the internal operations team and the sales team within Smart Solutions Group.
· Demonstrates and exemplifies the company’s and the area’s core values, operating principles and service differentiators
· Other duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
· Get in and out of a vehicle numerous times a day
· Be able to travel by plane as often as each week, enduring flights of up to 5 hours
· Able to sit for long periods of time
· Able to effectively and proficiently use technology to find and pursue potential clients
· Multitask and work under deadline pressure.

· Work after hours and on weekends.
· Communicate effectively.

Expectations
KPI’s:
· 80 – 100 contacts per week, all activity entered/tracked in Hubspot database
· 15 – 20 active prospects, tracked in Griffin Hill database
· 2 - 3 field sales days per week
· 1 new account per week (average)/4-5 new accounts per month
New revenue:
o $300K by the end of the first year
o $600K by the end of the second year
· 5 posts/activities/interactions on Linked In per week
· 5 new connections on Linked In per week
Networking:
· Involvement with an AGC committee
· Attending at least 1 business networking event per month (eg. Chamber of Commerce or TribeHouse)
2 client appreciation meetings per month (swag/treats/lunch/TopGolf etc.)
