ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position requires in territory face-to -face selling via cold calling, set appointments and networking meetings.
- Sales Growth: Identify, pursue, and close potential new print and digital advertising opportunities through a variety of solution-oriented sales strategies.
- Lead Generation: Generate and cultivate new sales leads and create compelling advertising plans to drive business growth.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Demonstrate proficiency in sales pipeline development, effective time management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to create customized advertising programs.
- Be a Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Beacons and Castnet ambassador throughout the company and community.
- Work efficiently, proactively throughout all departments within Times Publishing Group sharing a common goal for overall company success. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
NoneEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
- Previous Print/Media Sales Experience preferred.
- At least one (1) year of prior sales experience required.
- At least one (1) year of prior digital advertising experience selling products such as websites, banner advertising, SEM/SEO, social media, and email marketing.
- Must have the ability to identify the current needs of client base and communicate the benefits of our product suite as they relate to each need.
- Possess the ability to research problems and provide client focused solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability to grow market share.
- Proficient in face-to-face sales calls including upselling, appointment setting and cold calling.
- Ability to effectively articulate our company and product value propositions.
- Must be a team player and have a passion for creating and executing client focused, results driven ideas with the ability to provide effective advertising solutions.
- Valid Driver’s License is required for travel within the assigned territory.
- This is an outside sales position with daily client contact necessary to grow and maintain a book of business.
- This is not a remote position.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Must have good computer skills and be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
