Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Grow territory volume by selling all product lines to designated customers.
  • Build customer awareness of all products lines to build customer volume share.
  • Deliver high quality customer service to enable Recochem to be the supplier of choice for territory customers.
  • Sell new product distribution by understanding customer product mix and trends, and by leveraging sales and category management data.
  • Engage customers via in-person meetings (within a pre-determined distance), and phone and email as appropriate to support customer business growth. Travel to meet in person with customers and attend trade shows is expected to be 25%.
  • Support Sales Development Directors with business administrative needs (i.e. price sheets, product specification sheets delivery, reports, safety data sheets, etc.).
  • Effectively communicate all sales fundamentals (distribution, price, package, promotion) updates and/or changes to customers in a timely manner.
  • Develop a business plan for designated customers to help deliver sales strategies.
  • Develop a customer coverage plan that supports building business with high potential growth customers in the territory.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to understand sales processes and procedures.
  • Leverage available selling tools to grow business with customers and support development of new selling tools needed to grow the territory.
  • Participate in sales team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in business preferred
  • At least 3 years experience selling manufactured goods to retailers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Operates with strong organizational skills and work process discipline.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to high quality with accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • Open to receiving and applying feedback for personal development.
  • Takes initiative to solve problems and create solutions.
  • Collaborates with sales and cross functional team members.
  • Must have fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
