If so, Sovereign Commercial Services, the leading commercial cleaning company in NEPA (Northeastern Pennsylvania) area and within 100 miles of Scranton is seeking someone to grow our territory North of Scranton, PA toward upstate , Sullivan County. Distance between 100 miles. Milford, PA, Port Jervis, and toward Orange County as well.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career while making a significant impact on our business's growth and success. You must have a proven Sales role and recordable portfolio to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

1. Business Development: Identify and research potential clients in the NEPA area, including commercial offices, educational institutions, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and other businesses requiring professional cleaning services. Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads and expand our customer base.

As well as identify and develop new business opportunities through effective customer relationship management. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends

2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

3. Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and develop tailored cleaning solutions to meet their specific requirements. Present and demonstrate our services effectively, emphasizing the value and benefits of our commercial cleaning offerings.

4. Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities, contracts, and agreements.

5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

6. Collaboration: Coordinate with our operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop sales strategies, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.

7. Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and revenue objectives within the assigned territory. Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Proven Business Development Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful business development or sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience in the commercial cleaning industry is a plus but not required.

2. Relationship Building Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a track record of building strong relationships with clients. Ability to understand client needs and provide effective solutions.

3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and effective presentation abilities. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is desirable.

4. Self-Motivation: Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet business development targets.

5. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial cleaning services, cleaning products, and related industry standards is advantageous.

6. Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license at all times and have access to a reliable vehicle for customer visits within the assigned territory. Travel is requried.

7. Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the NEPA area moving into all areas within PA territory and its business landscape is preferred.
