Job Description
As a Sales Executive, you’ll proactively sell pre-deployed fiber-based broadband network assets to small business and mid-market customers. You’ll serve as a lead generator - uncovering your own leads through external networks and/or cold calling. Your ability to drive sales and maintain a self-starter mindset will help you to grow your own territory as you make daily sales calls, build relationships and identify new sales opportunities. You’ll also partner with clients to uncover their needs and deliver custom solutions that add value and solve customers’ strategic business priorities. Your success will require tech savvy, resiliency and the ability to learn quickly, act boldly and move fast.
Title: Account Executive
Salary and Comp Details: $49,000 to $67,400 w/OTE up to $103,900 plus a sign on bonus

TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience running a full sales cycle
- Preferably in the telecom, or selling a technical solution
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and current auto insurance with a reliable vehicle
- Will be compensated for gas (65 cents a mile)
- Background with cold calling, networking and building a sales pipeline (You will be heads down cold calling on a daily basis finding new leads)
- Communication is key. They need to have great written and verbal communication!
- Strong networking and negotiation skills combined with cross-selling and upselling
TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
- You'll serve as a lead generator - uncovering your own leads through external networks and/or cold calling

- You’ll partner with clients to uncover their needs, delivering custom value-added solutions that support their business priorities
- Prospecting and qualifying leads within assigned territory via phone, door knocking or premise visits
- Selling enterprise IP and data services to accounts from all market segments
- Offering fiber optic solutions to business customers in pre-lit buildings including Ethernet based internet access, VoIP, MPLS, IPVPN and Metro Ethernet services
- Owning the relationship with property managers and securing the ability to solicit customers in exchange for advanced network assets
- Interfacing with customers’ other account teams to properly serve and approach key clients in existing market segments
- Driving new sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and maximizing building penetration to ensure a return on prepositioned network assets

Pay: $49,900.00 - $67,400.00 per year
