Que-Mont Equipment is a family owned business founded in 1981. With our 6000 articles we are one of the largest distributor of equipment, tools and products for the tire industry. We we're originaly based un Ville St-Laurent but moved in Boisbriand in 2019 in a 18 000 square foot warehouse. We have sales representatives's team that are covering Quebec, Ontario and Maritimes.
The sales representative is responsible for promoting the company's products and services. He is also responsible of after-sale service to customers within his/her territory.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Visit existing customers on a regular basis
- Prospecting new customer within an assigned territory
- Promote and sell our products
- Help customers find solutions to make their work safer and be more productive
- Take customer orders and answer their questions about our products
- Provide technical support or help customer resolve issues related to product usage
- help customers keep an inventory and make sure they don't run out of material in busy seasons
- Handle merchandise returns according to our policies
- Work with Que-Mont’s managing team by Following up on overdue accounts with customers
You also have to;
- Maintain good relations with customers
- Stay up to date with the company's products
- Be proactive in presenting new products and promotions
- Actively participate in sales meetings
- Update the customer database by providing information to the administrative department in a timely manner
- Follow up on overdue accounts with customers in a courteous manner
- Be available for external business trips
- Maximise your business travel to visit all customers
SKILLS
- Ability to work on the road including overnight travel
- Good communication, interpersonal skills & professional attitude.
- Ability to organize your time & be efficient
- Be able to work with technology like tablet, phone, Microsoft suite and any other device related to our products & service
- Resourcefulness
- Sales experience
- Work independently but collaborate with a team
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and/or professional school diploma and/or career colleges diploma related to the position (an asset)
- Experience in sales or customer service
- Valid driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE
- Must speak English (french an asset)
- Knowledge of the automotive industry (an asset).
