SCHEDULE: Monday 7a-Monday 7a (Inpatient rounding, endoscopy, and call. Consult service--not primary admitting. After-hours transfer calls, lower/upper endoscopy for urgent needs.) Specific dates needed through 2024 are as follows: July 1, 7A –July 8, 7A (Holiday), July 15, 7A – July 22, 7A, Aug 5, 7A – Aug 12, 7A, Aug 19, 7A – Aug 26, 7A, Sept 2, 7A – Sept 9, 7A (Holiday), Oct 14, 7A – Oct 21, 7A, Oct 28, 7A – Nov 4, 7A, Nov 18, 7A – Nov 25, 7A, Nov 25, 7A – Dec 2, 7A (Holiday), and Dec 23, 7A – Dec 30, 7A (Holiday).
Hospital setting: Inpatient
EMR System: EPIC
Trauma Level: 1
Procedures Required: Inpt rounding, endoscopy, and calls through the full week of coverage. Consult service – not primary admitting. After hours transfer calls, lower and upper endoscopy for urgent needs.
Locum Tenens work and call schedule: Monday 07:00 – Monday 07:00
Support staff: 5 dedicated APP for inpatient service
Average Number of Cases per day (patients, Inpatients, follow-ups, etc.): Inpatient rounding: up to 40 patients on services with avg of 11 consults per day; Overnight/Weekend/Transfer calls avg 10-11 procedures per weekend
Patient Population: 100% Adult, Geriatrics
