Job Description
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Memphis, TN branch!
Essential Functions:
- Travels throughout assigned territory to pursue and acquire new business and maintains existing business.
- Plans sales activities and monitors industry and competitor trends.
- Provides applications assistance by determining customer needs; creating and upgrading product applications; and sourcing products for customers.
- Presents, reviews and negotiates quotes and contracts, provides feedback to questions from account managers and centralization and assists in credit collection.
- Confers and shares customer information with account and branch managers and prepares sales reports.

Base salary starts at $69K/year + monthly commissions.
Ideal Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
Candidates must have the ability and motivation to prospect new customers as well as maintain and grow relationships with existing customers. An ability to grasp the industries we serve and ultimately provide excellent customer service, quality products and long-term solutions to our customers in those industries is crucial. We are looking for a critical thinker who can lean forward, anticipate customers needs, and help them solve their problems.
- Mechanical aptitude or engineering knowledge a plus.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Experience in plastics or industrial sales strongly preferred.
License(s)/Certifications(s):
- Must have valid drivers license to participate in the Company Car program.
Education:
- Requires a minimum of a HS diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
