Job Title: Business Development Representative
Job Summary:
This experienced Business Development Representative will be responsible for development and qualification of sales leads and sales of corporate products and solutions to Healthcare markets. The candidate will have the opportunity to support the front-end process of the sales cycle by following up on inbound leads, marketing generated leads, initiating cold calls and utilizing Salesloft sales development software and Salesforce CRM software for follow up activity.
Essential Functions:
- Research and profile key accounts to collect key data attributes, enhancing our prospecting database for enhanced targeting efforts.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with decision makers by telephone, e-mail and LinkedIn to qualify leads and determine need for our products and services.
- Use strong verbal phone communication skills to engage targeted executive contacts with strategic value propositions.
- Possess solid business acumen and are able to have articulate conversations with C Level clients.
- Possesses a clear understanding of our services and can create the vision that brings our prospects and our solutions together.
- Be organized, able to work independently, have a positive attitude and exceptional listening skills.
- Move decision makers to qualified opportunities.

- Working closely with Demand Marketing and Sales teams, utilizing database of qualified prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from ad inquiries, events, marketing campaign responders, aged leads, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Overcomes technical and business objectives of prospective customers.
- Have a professional, positive business image and the ability to respond appropriately to a variety of situations.
- Ability to succeed in a customer-centric, metrics-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to succinctly communicate and document information within CRM environment.
- Make 50+ phone calls per day and build relationships over the phone with top-level executives.
- Proactively collaborate with Sales and Marketing staff to optimize and refine processes, discuss new business opportunities and potential process improvement areas.
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
Education:
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree from college/university required
- Prefer business or related degree, with coursework in sales and marketing
Experience:
- 5+ years related experience in technology, software or healthcare sales preferred
- Experience with cold calling, qualifying leads, and setting appointments
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft a plus

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
