POSITION SUMMARY

We are actively seeking a General Manager that is invested in actively guiding the company’s strategic plan, projects and budget that supports it; ultimately, holding responsibility and accountability for the execution of the plan and achieving the goals contemplated therein.

The GM participates in the planning, development and establishment of the company’s policies, strategic initiatives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in accordance with corporate guidance. Additionally, he/she participates in the development of the Company Goals, Tracking Charts, and Budget. The GM has full company P&L responsibility.

The GM is solely responsible for the implementation, tracking, and progress reporting on strategic initiatives, projects, Company KPIs and Internal KPIs to the president and corporate officers.

The GM’s scope of responsibility includes Sales, Operations, Quality, and HR. Corporate finance will lead in the reporting of financial information while the interpretation and predicting of financial information will be the result of collaboration between finance, the President, the GM, and/or company department(s) as necessary.

The GM is responsible for the development and coordination of departmental and inter-departmental objectives, alignment, and activities (as required) to achieve company objectives as outlined in the corporate guidance for the company.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The GM (in addition to being ultimately accountable for each of his/her departmental objectives) is accountable for:

  • Promote the development and implementation of manufacturing and administrative procedures to meet the corporate quality objective including the coordination and implementation of any quality certifications held.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative & productive teams
  • Results driven
  • Increase throughput, quality, and efficiency resulting in the ability to handle rapid company revenue growth.
  • Generate annual operating budgets, manage them effectively with a focus on remaining on budget to the operating income level.
  • Divisional distribution of Revenue. Each division must fulfil the plan set forth in the Sales Plan.
  • Achieving goals set forth in the Strategic Plan, Strategic Initiatives, and/or the Company Goals.
  • Ensuring Capital Expenditures are to plan to include but not limited to project timeline, cost, and achievement of projected return on investment.
  • Responsible for development of a collaborative leadership team and company culture.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Leading a group of senior level employees & managers
  • Managing in a discreet manufacturing environment
  • Managing an Income Statement (P&L)
  • Lean leadership (KanBan, 5s, SMED, Pull Systems, etc.)
