Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, Existing Business, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for making inquiries into strong leads. You are entrepreneurial in nature, a creative thinker, with a strong ability to consult the lead with your knowledge and expertise in cloud computing. You are comfortable talking to the C-Suite or the IT team at SMBs and have a passion to help them with their digital transformation. - Proactive in recognizing unique opportunities with inquiries and leads, and bringing ideas to the table every day to nurture leads through the sales pipeline.
- Work diligently with other members of the marketing and sales team to recognize opportunities through cold calling, marketing lists, and lead detection software.
- Has the ability to bridge new sales opportunities identified in HubSpot, and helps to nurture the sales opportunity with both the sales and marketing teams.
- Provide suggestions and work alongside other members of the marketing team to build Marketing Automation campaigns that resonate with the target audiences.
- Detect patterns in the analytics dashboard to continuously understand how to strengthen the pipeline, and turn cold leads into warm leads for the Sales team.
- Actively compile meaningful competitive and product research that will help the Marketing team reach leads in a meaningful and valuable way.
- Clearly articulate the brand promise and what products will work for each unique business, demonstrating expertise and building trust with the lead.
- Quickly and diligently does lead follow up in an effective manner.
- Achieve all measurable daily performance standards (follow-ups, sell time).
- Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing relationships.
- Engage effectively with inquiries to advance them through the pipeline.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients and work effectively with the Customer Success team to carry the sale through.
- Extensive experience in telesales, social selling, email lead prospecting and prospecting through online meetings.
- Is comfortable in consultative selling techniques for a variety of technology services/products to small and medium-sized businesses.
- Proactively finds new ways of creating a meaningful connection with prospects, working with the marketing team to develop new tools and content that aligns with customer needs.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and time management skills.
- Has the teamwork and leadership skills to work effectively within the sales team and alongside the marketing team to connect and nurture leads.
- Understands the nuances and urgency of achieving team and personal goals within a rapidly expanding company.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude; comfortable working with a small team
- Flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong Experience with:
- Modern selling tools (Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Platform, Microsoft Teams)
- Microsoft 365 Dynamics and HubSpot Marketing Hub
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education; University/ College Diploma
- Good experience working in a fast-paced sales environment with a successful track record in warming up sales-qualified leads.
- Has extensive experience working in a technology company, ideally in cloud computing.
