About the Role
As part of the AMC business unit, you will be among the protagonists of our mission to bring top-notch technology and solutions to our customers. There is opportunity for hybrid remote work for this role, but travel to customer sites domestically as well as some international is anticipated.
In this role, you are expected to:
- Increase sales and maximize profit through proactive selling techniques, while building customer relationships in a professional manner and through solution-oriented communications.
- Develop and manage strategic sales plans, forecasts, and sales campaigns, while analyzing products, markets and customers’ sales potential.
- Ensure that customers are offered complete solutions, including new machinery, spare parts, modernization, service, and training.
- Assist with negotiation of customer and agent contracts, terms and conditions, pricing, etc.
- Prepare reports covering overall sales volume and annual forecasts, pricing, competitors, etc., tracking and monitoring sales targets’ achievement.
- Assist the Sales Director with development of annual budgets.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to develop and execute solution-specific promotional programs.
- Maintain key customer information such as contacts, sales visits, opportunities, emails, phone calls, offers, etc. in the Coesia CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Travel to customer locations regularly and attend trade shows as per the annual plan.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Similar industrial sales experiences with capital machinery and collegiate engineering degree a strong plus.
- CAD design understanding highly sought.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Results-driven, solution-minded approach.
- Proven ability in developing multi-level contacts with customers and building strong customer relationships.
- Proven ability in designing and implementing a multi-channel approach into the market.
- Travel extensively as required.
- Ability to set own schedule and demonstrate effective time management and follow-up techniques.
- Create and execute strategic business initiatives.
- Willingness to share and communicate experiences for the overall benefit of the company.
- Familiarity with the typical regulations, sales methodologies, and cycles of industries we support.
