The Role: As a Sales and Client Relations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our janitorial client base and nurturing existing relationships. You'll be directly contributing to our growth by identifying new potential clients, engaging them through effective communication, and guiding them through the process of partnering with us. Additionally, you'll work closely with management, ownership, and operations leadership to ensure client satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities in the commercial cleaning industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct cold calls and outreach efforts to generate new leads and schedule appointments.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the market, the services the company offers, and the competitive landscape.
- Work closely with the operations team to make sure service proposals meet client needs and are within the company's capabilities.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential to determine the value of existing and prospective customers.
- Use data and feedback to refine sales strategies and approaches, responding to challenges and aiming to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in educational and training opportunities to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous sales experience, particularly in the service industry, is highly desirable.
- Strong motivation and work ethic, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Own transportation for travel within the city to meet with clients.
Compensation:
You will receive a competitive base salary plus commissions. The combination of base salary and commissions means that your total earnings are expected to fall at $40,000 and $60,000+ annually, depending on your success in driving sales and deepening client relationships.
