Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with proven operational experience in the industrial Electrical & Instrumentation sector and expertise in the renewables field, particularly in data centers. The ideal candidate will drive growth, expand our market presence, and leverage industry-specific knowledge to develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business in the Electrical & Instrumentation industry, with a focus on renewables and data center projects.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients while exploring opportunities for expansion within the renewables sector.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure project feasibility and alignment with client needs, particularly in renewable energy initiatives.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to senior management and potential clients, showcasing solutions in both traditional industries and renewable sectors.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, with a particular focus on renewable energy and data center developments.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and gather market intelligence, with a focus on renewable energy and technological advancements in data centers.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies and materials that support business development goals, emphasizing our capabilities in renewables and data centers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a business development role within the industrial Electrical & Instrumentation sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and operational experience in the traditional E&I and renewables sector, specifically with data centers.
  • Established relationships within the renewable energy field, particularly with stakeholders in data center projects.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
