Job Description
We have an IMMEDIATE need for Freight Sales Representatives!As a Logistics Sales Representative in the freight industry, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by effectively managing and expanding customer relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into profitable business deals. You will work closely with the sales team, logistics professionals, and customers to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
Location: Tampa, FL 33615 (Town & Country) **REMOTE available outside of city limits
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - Friday (Work remote on Fridays after 2pm)
Responsibilities
- Sales Prospecting: Identify potential customers and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage prospecting activities, track interactions, and maintain accurate records of sales leads.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their transportation needs and provide customized solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to assess satisfaction levels, address concerns, and upsell additional services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of shipments and resolve any issues promptly.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing: Develop and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize profitability while meeting customer expectations and market standards.
- Close sales deals efficiently and achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Market Intelligence and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the freight and logistics sector.
- Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
- 1+ years of Freight / Logistics Sales experience required
