Job description
Star Industries is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative/Industrial Sales to join our growing organization. The Customer Service Representative/Industrial Sales position requires you to have experience with industrial equipment rentals or sales. The Customer Service Representative/Industrial Sales role requires understanding of construction equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, and forklifts. Our ideal Customer Service Representative/Industrial Sales is a hardworking individual who can complete tasks successfully with little to no supervision.
Job Responsibilities
· General understanding of construction equipment.
· Handle inbound traffic (via email and phone), applying your product and industry knowledge to guide customers and prospects to the best solution for their needs.
· Prepare quotes for existing customers and the Sales department.
· Process orders and maintain our CRM (Business Central 365).
· Manage and track customer issues to resolution.
· Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
· Work with sales team and other departments to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a positive attitude with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
· Perform other related duties as required or directed.
Job Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED desired.
· At least 2 years in a sales or CSR environment within the Construction Equipment or Attachment industry (B2B experience would be ideal and you’re an excellent negotiator and problem solver).
· A team approaches. This role requires you to work collaboratively with colleagues to manage customer orders and issues from receipt to resolution.
· Technical ability with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and you know your way round a CRM.
· High degree of hand/finger dexterity.
· Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
· Ability to professionally communicate and work with others.
· Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner.
· Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products.
· Work with team members to meet established goals.
· Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, lift, climb, and/or balance.
· Self-motivated to perform a task to the best of one’s ability by using your own drive or initiative.
· Excellent attendance.
· Dependable and trustworthy.
