BPA and the multidisciplinary team at Pratt & Whitney Canada's project office are currently seeking a Building Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team at BPA's project office at Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil. He/she will be involved in all stages of various projects and will collaborate directly with the customer on different projects at the customer's infrastructure level across Canada.

Your main responsibilities

  • Design, coordinate and verify various electrical projects (LV, MV and HV, switchgear) according to customer requirements in the industrial sector
  • Act as main contact and ensure customer satisfaction throughout projects
  • Act as a link between the project office and the BPA office design team
  • Manage a team of building electrical technicians
  • Carry out electrical network studies (short-circuit calculations, protection, flash arc, harmonic analysis)
  • Survey existing installations
  • Interdisciplinary coordination with BPA, customer and external professionals
  • Evaluate building electrical construction cost budgets
  • Write technical specifications and reports
  • Participate in work supervision
Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Three (3) years' experience on relevant projects or with a consulting engineering firm
  • Autonomy, pragmatism, good communication skills and adaptability
  • Leadership, ability to work as part of a team and a strong sense of customer service
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Security clearance may be required
