Sales Representative Position Overview
As a Roofing Sales Representative, your mission is to drive your path to financial glory. You'll venture into the field, conquer company leads, referrals, and break through cold calls. Your quest includes property inspections, contract signings, meetings with insurance adjusters, and developing value-add estimates that help us exceed our financial goals.
Sales Representative Responsibilities by Phase:

Phase 1: Prospecting and Customer Delight
- Ignite and maintain a Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) both in the field and office.
- Embark on expeditions to storm-affected areas, prospecting and cold calls.
- Conduct property inspections using high-tech devices to document damage.
- Lead property owners through the insurance claim process.
- Championing this phase adds approximately 1/3 of the weighted average of Company Sales Commissions to your journey.

Phase 2: Scope Mastery and Contract Conquest
- Encounter insurance adjusters and document scope of damage.
- Collaborate with adjusters, creating a line-item estimate using powerful estimating software.
- Formally forge contracts with property owners using a proven set of build Contracts.
- Your efforts contribute about 1/3 of the weighted average of Company Sales Commissions to your financial growth.

Phase 3: Profit Maximization and Production Triumph
- Execute estimating and supplementing techniques to help our clients.
- Support our production team when needed, securing heroic change orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist the accounts receivable department, ensuring successful collection of payments. Help us maintain our financial objectives.
- This phase contributes approximately 1/3 of the weighted average of Company Sales Commissions.
- Collect and share market insights and lead sources.
- Participate in company meetings, sales events and advanced training sessions.
- Embrace the Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform as your secret weapon for success.
- Keep the production and accounts receivable departments informed of all developments.
- Actively cold calling, door knocking, canvassing, and networking.
- Play a vital role in our pursuit of financial goals and positive community impact.
- A valid Driver's License.

Previous outside sales experience w/ an emphasis in self-generated leads.
- Will also receive warm leads
- Knowledge of roofing, home services, or construction is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual language skills are preferred, but not required.
- Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter with a thirst for exceeding sales targets.

- Ability to climb ladders to varying heights
Combination of field, on-site at projects, and office work. Occasionally, you'll climb ladders to assess residential and commercial roofs. You’ll work with colleagues in various capacities in support of the business.
Sales Representative Type/Expected Hours Worked:
This is a full-time position, but hours are flexible based on business needs to be determined by general manager.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Sales Representative to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Sales Representative should be able to stand, sit at an office space, see, hear, and understand speech, communicate, lift computer equipment, supplies and materials, use office equipment and computers. The Sales Representative is exposed to typical office working conditions, but will also work off-site using its vehicles as a mobile office.
