Job Summary:
The ideal sales candidate will partner with the Golden West team to fully support the total customer experience and journey. This position is expected to develop relationships with Golden West customers in their assigned territory. This position requires selling the entire Golden West portfolio to meet and exceed the sales and growth goals. This position must provide coverage and develop the best possible market penetration to existing and prospective accounts, in an assigned territory, through available Golden West resources. The position provides excellent growth opportunities.

Key Duties:
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with Existing Customers
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers to understand their ongoing needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Retention Efforts:
  • Address customer concerns proactively and provide timely resolutions to maintain long-term loyalty.
  • Share updates on new products, services, or promotions relevant to their needs.
  • Customer Feedback and Insights:
  • Gather feedback from customers about their experiences and report insights to improve product offerings or customer service.
  • Use CRM tools to track customer interactions, preferences, and purchasing history.
  • Acquiring New Customers
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Research and identify potential new customers through market analysis, referrals, and networking.
  • Reach out to prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media to introduce products or services.
  • Needs Assessment:
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand potential customers' needs and align solutions accordingly.
  • Present tailored product or service demonstrations that address specific challenges or goals.
  • Pipeline Development:
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage campaigns and leads for conversion opportunities.
  • Driving Sales Performance
  • Revenue Growth:
  • Develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for both existing accounts and new business.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for expanding customer accounts through additional product or service offerings.
  • Sales Reporting and Metrics:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, progress, and outcomes in CRM tools.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Partner with customer service, technical support, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Share insights with the sales team to refine strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Travel and Trade Shows
  • Event Participation:
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services.
  • Engage with booth visitors, answer questions, and provide product demonstrations to generate leads.
  • Booth Setup and Management:
  • Setup and teardown of trade show booths, ensuring all materials, equipment, and displays are properly arranged.
  • Maintain an organized and professional booth space, ensuring it aligns with the company’s branding and messaging.
  • Lead Collection and Follow-Up:
  • Collect and organize contact information from potential customers met during events.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads generated from trade shows, tracking them through the sales pipeline.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Sales experience or a track record of success in inbound sales is a plus
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Basic understanding of ISO13485, FDA, and CE-IVD regulations is helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,500.00 per year
