Enru™ Logistics and Postal Optimization is about to do for logistics what we did for co-mail: optimize it, through our proprietary, digital-first technology and strategic network of consolidation warehouses. Enru partners with shippers, mailers, carriers, and drivers to gather crucial, real-time data through proprietary technology to deliver mail and shipments efficiently and predictably via our optimized supply chain network. We keep things moving in ways never before possible.

As the Strategic Pricing Leader, you will spearhead the development and implementation of pricing strategies that are not only responsive to market trends but also strategically position our business for sustainable growth and profitability. You will lead a team of Pricing Analysts, directing their efforts towards comprehensive market analysis and the formulation of pricing policies that maximize our competitive edge. Your role will involve a deep dive into market dynamics, identifying trends, and crafting pricing guidelines that drive business objectives. This role sits onsite in Bolingbrook, IL.

Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and empower a team of Pricing Analysts, guiding them in conducting in-depth market analysis and strategic pricing formulation to drive accurate quotes.
Develop and execute pricing strategies that are aligned with market dynamics and tailored to meet specific business margin goals.
Monitor and analyze market trends with a focus on identifying opportunities for strategic pricing adjustments at the micro and macro levels.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of pricing data through robust data management practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of pricing strategies across various service lines, customer segments, and geographical regions, leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies.
Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs.
Present pricing insights, recommendations, and performance updates to the executive leadership team, providing strategic guidance on pricing-related decisions.
Proactively address pricing-related escalations, employing a strategic approach to resolve conflicts and optimize outcomes.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute valuable insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies.
Develop sophisticated customer economics models incorporating historical data, market trends, and customer-specific factors to inform pricing decisions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the pricing team and across functional departments.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving organizational excellence and achieving business objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in market analysis, pricing strategy development, and quantitative modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex pricing concepts and recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering tangible business outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic pricing, market analysis, or related roles, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of multiple modes/services in the logistics industry such as, TL, LTL, Consolidation and Intermodal
  • Prior experience in leading high-performing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics tools and software
  • In-depth knowledge of pricing methodologies, competitive positioning strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
