SUMMARY:

Business strategic approach to receivables cash management. Analyze and assess creditworthiness of customers. Drive effective communication with customers to ensure timely payments and resolve issues. Strong internal communication & business relationship skills. Adequate presentation skills with the ability to breakdown complex issues for executive management. Strong spreadsheet skills and familiarity with producing data from ERP systems. Manage day-to-day accounts receivable, collection and credit activities.

Effective communication inside and outside the organization.

Develop effective relationships with customers that promote adherence to payment terms.

Financial statement analysis.

Evaluate customer’s creditworthiness to set appropriate credit limits.

Advanced knowledge of accounting software.

Monitor areas of responsibility for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company SOX procedures.

Maintain accounting records for accounts receivables.

Manage preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, including forecasting cash receipts from customers.

Oversee month-end reconciliations for accounts receivable related accounts.

Manage outside auditor requests at quarter/year-end to provide supporting documents and explanations in a timely manner.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Working understanding of Letters of Credit.

Ability to manage employees effectively.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business degree.

Five (5) to Ten (10) years related managerial experience.
