ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist SCADA Group Leaderin developing control and integration solutions for customers
- Responsible for troubleshooting and field testing of SCADA panels
- Execute SCADA projects including PLC/SCADA programming and database configuration
- Position requires some travel, including potential international travel, to job sites
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control System Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering disciplines
- 7+ years industry experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP
- Knowledge of Communication Networking, IP, TCP, firewall/router configuration, etc.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and accommodation of tight deadlines
- Proven ability to take initiative researching and solving problems, multitasking, and escalating issues when appropriate
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to efficiently communicate and report at all levels
- Familiarity with IEC 61131 based programming languages (ladder logic, structured text), familiarity with SEL RTAC/Allen Bradley ControlLogix platform a plus
- Previous experience with Industrial SCADA platforms (GE Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition, etc.)
- Previous experience configuring industrial gateways/field IO a plus
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 30%
