Membership Sales Representative

Job Description

We are looking to grow our team! Sales representatives are responsible for actively generating club revenue while developing and working together with Front Desk and KidsPlace staff to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

Our staff members are treated to a complimentary gym membership to all our clubs!

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

• Mornings 8am-2pm (Monday-Friday)
• Evenings 2pm-8pm (Monday-Friday)
• Mornings 8am-12pm (Saturday)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sell memberships to walk in customers
• Greets and checks in all members and guests
• Set sales appointments through referrals and leads
• Sells products and services
• Follows sales policies and procedures for department
• Answers and directs all incoming phone calls, updates billing
• Fields all member complaints and concerns
• Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club
• Cleaning and organizing the equipment and the club
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of time
• Maintains professionalism and appearance, when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent team and leadership skills
• A comprehensive understanding of sales operations
• Must be highly motivated and energetic and organized
• Ability to multitask
• An understanding of health club operations
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
• Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have experience in sales
• Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
• College degree preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or will be provided

ABILITY TO COMMUTE/RELOCATE:

• Derry, NH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

SUPPLEMENTAL PAY

• Commission pay
• Bonus pay

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
