SHORT DESCRIPTION

Technosub is looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our sales force at Sudbury. The Technical Sales Representative works under the supervision of the Technosub – Sales Manager. His or her main mandate is to promote the full range of Technosub products and ensure sales growth in their territory. The candidate will support the distribution network by providing technical support as well as application analysis in pumping requests.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the representation of the Technosub product range for the entire Sudbury territory;
  • Solve dewatering challenges and develop new business opportunities;
  • Share technical knowledge on products and ensure application evaluation;
  • Maintain and develop good business relationships;
  • Ensure exemplary customer service;
  • Identify new business opportunities;
  • Ensure contract management;
  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable;
  • Contribute to training and to the growth of our clients;
  • Establish the schedule and priorities in collaboration with Sales Coordinators to ensure delivery as quickly as possible;
  • Offer support to colleagues in the Sudbury office and ensure regular presence there;
  • All other related tasks.

TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in sales of industrial with strong knowledge of the mining industry;

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a valid driver's license as well as a good driving record;
  • Good proficiency in English, both oral and written;
  • Ability to communicate with internal customers, mainly Canadian and American;
  • Good knowledge of the mining or industrial territory are important assets;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The person incumbering this job must possess the following qualities:

  • Strong communication skills;
  • Teamwork abilities and customer service as a value;
  • Developed sense of initiative and autonomy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The candidate will frequently be required to travel throughout the territory;
  • The candidate will be responsible for representing Technosub at various Trade Shows.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $50,000.00 per year
