Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and analytics within the financial or commodities sector, with a focus on wholesale experience. This individual will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and expanding our wholesale market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions and value propositions for clients.
- Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and deal closures with prospective clients.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and proposals to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated history of achieving success in sales and business development roles, with particular value if within the financial or commodities sector, specifically in wholesale. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills complemented by a proficiency in modeling software such as Power BI.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed. Usually no more than 10-20% of the time.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
